We are currently looking for a reliable and motivated Warehouse Operative to join our team in Basildon. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a warehouse environment, be familiar with stock management systems, and possess basic maths, English, and computer skills. This role requires a proactive individual who can maintain high levels of accuracy and efficiency under pressure.
Day-to-day of the role:- Safely operate warehouse machinery, including forklifts, to move stock and materials.
- Perform general warehouse duties, such as cleaning and organising, to ensure a safe and orderly environment.
- Assist with loading and unloading goods, ensuring they are handled with care.
- Execute picking and packing tasks accurately to meet order requirements.
- Maintain and update stock management systems with precision.
- Work collaboratively with the team to achieve daily goals and maintain productivity.
- Previous experience working in a warehouse environment.
- A stable work history, demonstrating reliability and commitment.
- Experience with stock management systems.
- Basic maths, English, and computer skills.
- Ability to remain motivated and work effectively under pressure.
- Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to build professional relationships.
