Warehouse Operative/Picker/Packer

Based in Avonmouth, Plant-Ex ingredients in an international company specialising in the manufacture of Natural Food Ingredient Solutions, supplying across the globe either directly through our own facilities or through a number of selected distribution partners.

We specialise in spray drying food colourings and flavours as well as production of liquid food colours, flavours and extracts.

Due to an ever expanding organisation and taking on more warehouse space - We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Warehouse Operative / Picker / Packer !

We are looking to fill two roles. One is working in our Goods Out Warehouse and the other is a Production Operative / RM (Raw materials) Picker working in our Goods In team - you will be required to pick and prepare raw materials as required to meet a busy production schedule.

Both roles work 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday - day shift only.

Both roles are working in warehouses - picking, packing and dispatching of a variety of natural food ingredients.

Palletising raw materials for use in production, taking care that ONLY the correct materials and required amounts are palletised.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

No experience needed - we offer full training! BUT you must hold a full clean Driving Licence and an FLT licence or a recently expired licence.

We are looking for driven people who want to get involved and succeed in our fast-paced company.

You must have basic reading and writing skills for recording batch numbers, and basic computer skills for sending emails.

You need to be physically fit and be able to lift 25kg comfortably. You will work in a warehouse environment and full PPE will be provided.

We are looking for individuals with a problem solving and "can do attitude"

Immediate start available.

You will need to be able to reliably commute to Avonmouth.

Pay: Up to £25,000.00 p.a - depending on driving qualifications and/or previous experience.
