Warehouse/ Stores

Our client a well established and reputable manufacturing company based in Bridgend is seeking a Warehouse Operator/Stores to join their business on a ongoing contract.

Ongoing Temporary role - no end date

Pay Rate : £12.16 per hour

Hours : 37 hrs per week - 8 hour days that could vary between 6am and 6pm. (Ie 6am-2pm / 10am/6pm)

Job description:

• Replenishing raw materials as production departments require them


• Manual lifting


• Ensuring that all goods that are loaded or unloaded match the relevant paperwork


• Storing and rotating stock according to established procedures


• Reporting any damaged or missing goods to Warehouse Managers or Supervisors


• Keeping the warehouse environment clean and tidy


• Following workplace health and safety rules when handling goods


• Flexible and able to respond to varying needs of the business

Requirements :

Fork truck license a strong advantage but not essential.

It is preferred that the candidate has fork lift truck experience.

Previous experience of using a FLT with no valid license is considered.
