Our client is looking for a dynamic, highly skilled, and committed individual to support and manage their team of warehouse staff. You will be responsible for overseeing the inventory control team and ensuring that all staff members receive adequate training and can manage their workload.
A successful candidate will have at least 3-5 years of experience managing store or warehouse staff in a freight forwarding environment and be able to identify areas of improvement in the warehouse operations and oversee changes.
Responsibilities:
- Keep a clean and safe workplace environment.
- Control and take inventory of all products in stock.
- Ensure that employees are performing their duties efficiently.
- Report any issues with products or employees to the supervisor and stakeholders.
- Give new hires a brief on how their job will be done.
- Maintain a safe and secure workplace.
- Be on the lookout for anything that is amiss or will impede work.
- 3-5 years of experience managing store or warehouse staff in a freight forwarding environment.
- Sea freight forwarding experience
- Good communication skills with various stakeholders
- Dedicated on work responsibility and extra hours may required.
- Able to solve problems rationally and efficiently.
- Some flexibility on working arrangements is essential
