Warehouse Supervisor

The Role

We are looking for a professional, personable and enthusiastic person who will helping to deliver the highest levels of customer service and operational effectiveness to our client’s customers.
The ideal candidate will have experience of Supervising in a busy warehouse environment and working accurately and to the highest standards.
You will be working closely with the Team Leader to formulate work plans and ensure effective management of the workload.

Main Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule & Book Goods Inward
• Responsible for overall stock control
• Organise picking of Bulk orders.
• Accurate checking of orders
• Oversee P.I counts including adjustments.
• Liaise and plan outside storage requirements.
• Oversee & liaise with other departments.
• Deliver the financial objectives of the business.
• Hands on role

  The Candidate

• Previous experience of being responsible for a team able to lead small teams.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to influence and motivate people around you.
• Excellent people / time management skills
• A self-driven and results orientated outlook.
• An ability to work accurately in a methodical and tidy manner.
• Excellent organisational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines.
• Flexible and professional attitude.
• Good numeracy skills.
• Experienced in working in high volume B2B & B2C warehouses
• Experience with bulk despatch
• Experience with bulk picking
• Experience with shipping containers
