Main Responsibilities- Assist the Warehouse Manager with the day to day running of the Distribution Centre and a team of Warehouse Assistants
- Maintain accuracy and quality of all documentation
- Ensure premises are clean, dry and free from litter and dust
- Ensure products are stored correctly as per relevant storage conditions
- Monitor automated temperature system and take necessary actions in the event of an excursion
- Ensure products are transported correctly as per labelled storage conditions
- Ensuring training and competency assessment of a nominated deputy person on delegated duties
- Ensure staff receives initial and continuing training relevant to their job role, based on written procedures
- Ensure the premises is safe, secure and locked up when required
- Ensure all equipment is maintained to an appropriate standard
- Implement corrective measures and monitoring their progress
- Working with all members of staff to maintain and develop the positive progressive culture within the Organisation
- Overseeing staff attendance, timekeeping and performance
- Picking orders
- Physically picking stock from bulk locations
- Manually checking orders at checking bench
- Packing orders appropriately to ensure safe delivery to our customers
- Placing order in the relevant run cage for delivery
- Replenish bins once empty with new stock
