Warehouse Team Leader

We are currently looking for a Warehouse Team Leader for one of our rapidly growing clients in the Birchwood area.

Duties:

• Reporting into the Night Shift Team Manager, oversee the Night Shift Operation to ensure the effective delivery of;
• Picking and packing Customer orders.
• Customer returns processing.
• Inbound stock and replenishment.
• All stock control processes.
• Health & Safety Management
• In the absence of the Night Shift Team Manager, be the first point of contact to appropriately handle challenges arising out of hours (i.e. people, health and safety, systems, facilities etc) – escalating to key stakeholders as and when required.
• Shift handovers
• Ensure workload is distributed effectively throughout the evening.
• Monitor KPIs
• Be able to confidently handle all areas of People Management for your Team, including;
• Monitor and follow up on absences through return to work meetings – working with the People Team to resolve any concerns.
• Reviewing absence requests.
• Manage conduct and/or capability concerns
• Conduct worker inductions and onboarding as required.

• Previous experience in warehousing Health and Safety.
• Demonstrable previous experience in a Warehouse Management / Supervisory role is essential.
• Experience in Warehouse Management Systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel.
• Stock Control Experience.
• People management experience

Hours:

• Working on a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern rotation, between the hours of 6pm
