Job Title: Warehouse Team Leader
Location: Margate, Kent
Salary: £23,400 (increasing to £25,350 following successful probation)
Hours: Monday to Friday 5am - 1pm

Role Summary:
As a Warehouse Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in the efficient and effective operation of our warehouse facility in the absence of the Warehouse Manager. You will be responsible for leading a team of dedicated warehouse staff, ensuring that all aspects of the warehouse activities align with our quality standards, safety protocols, and operational objectives.

Key responsibilities within your new role would be to:
- Lead and motivate the Warehouse Team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Support the Warehouse Team by picking and packing orders.
- Assist with the unloading and loading of goods and deliveries.
- Reconcile delivery paperwork with the goods delivered and report any discrepancies.
- Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure optimal performance and productivity.
- Oversee the accurate receiving, storing and dispatching of raw and finished goods.
- Maintain inventory control procedures to minimise discrepancies and ensure stock accuracy.
- Collaborate with other departments to optimise warehouse activities.
- Uphold strict quality control measure to guarantee the quality of our products during storage and distribution.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Carry out training sessions with staff where required.
- Manage the Warehouse Team in the absence of the Warehouse Manager.
Experience and skills required for this position:
- Previous experience within a Warehouse Management / Supervisory position, desirable
- Previous experience within a warehouse, essential
- Ideally you will hold a valid forklift licence
- Due to shift times you will need your own transport
- You will be working between different temperature environments
