Warehouse Worker

Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Worker to join our team. As a Warehouse Worker, you will be responsible for various tasks such as materials handling, shipping and receiving, picking and packing, load and unload, quality control, and maintaining the overall organization of the warehouse. This is a physically demanding role that requires heavy lifting and the ability to operate a forklift.

Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming shipments and verify their contents
- Unload and load materials onto trucks or shelves
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently
- Perform quality control checks on incoming and outgoing products
- Maintain inventory accuracy by conducting regular stock counts
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of hazards
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
- Assist with any other duties assigned by the supervisor

Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a warehouse or similar environment preferred
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to [weight]) on a regular basis
- Proficient in materials handling, shipping and receiving procedures
- Familiarity with picking, packing, and inventory management processes
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing tasks
- Mechanical knowledge to operate warehouse equipment effectively
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines
- Forklift certification is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £11.41-£13.72 per hour
