AR557 – Warranty Team Technical Coordinator

Salary: £35,000 - £38,500
Overview:
First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Warranty Team Technical Coordinator on behalf of one of our clients.
The successful candidate will be responsible for co-ordination of the warranty process and field support team to ensure contractually compliant warranty processing is maintained.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Check, verify, review and process warranty claims in line with business metrics
- Communicate with customers/suppliers
- Preparation of reports regarding warranty claims, productivity and cost
- Co-ordinate the workflow for Customer Support field team members
- Control the issue/backloading of all warranty issued parts
- Interface daily with internal stakeholder departments to ensure efficient & cost-effective completion of warrant claims
- Provide technical guidance and process advice to customers
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry guidelines are adhered to
- Maintain warranty claim work order preparation, progress and completion
- Assist with any general clerical duties as directed by the line manage
Skills and Qualifications:
- C&G Heavy Vehicle Repair level 3 (or equivalent) or other Engineering/Technical qualification/further education
- Minimum of grade C in English and Maths at GCSE (or equivalent)
- Experience in an HGV/automotive service/warranty environment
- Experience of using data systems and being able to learn and adapt systems to assist in continuous improvement
- Logistic and quality management systems experience
- Excellent IT skills and knowledge of MS programmes particularly Microsoft Excel Intermediate level, ability to manipulate spreadsheets
- Suitable for a Technician wishing to move into office environment
- Assessment of work order paperwork to ensure full compliance
