The postholder will support the collation and reporting of data concerning the management of all waste by the Council and will also have responsibility for the data management arrangements for the Glasgow Recycling and Renewable Energy Centre (GRREC) contract.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
•Maintaining the Council's recycling and Waste Data statistics, to enable internal and external reporting, including, but not limited to, key performance data and completing statutory returns to the Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA) via the Waste Data Flow tool
•Report on the performance of the GRREC and other key contracts
•Prepare regular/ad hoc reports on waste management and recycling
