Water Hygiene Engineer

Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer.
Location: Oldham, Greater Manchester.
Salary / Benefits £22k - £33k + Training + Benefits
We have a position for a Water Hygiene Engineer to join a reputable and longstanding Water Hygiene / Legionella Consultancy. The successful candidate will be traveling regionally, carrying out various Water Hygiene duties across Commercial, Industrial, and Educational sites ensuring work is carried out in line with ACoP L8 / Health & Safety guidelines. Our client can offer the successful candidate training into a Legionella Risk Assessor position alongside regional travel, ensuring a work life balance, company vehicle, company pension scheme and cross training into other environmental sectors.
Consideration will be given to candidates from: Manchester, Stockport, Rochdale, Warrington, Macclesfield, Crewe, Chester, Liverpool, St Helens, Bury, Bolton, Huddersfield, Blackburn, Preston, Huddersfield, Leeds, Bradford, Keighley, Wakefield.
Experience & Qualifications:
" Experience working on a mixed portfolio of sites for a reputable Water Hygiene / Legionella company.
" Fully conversant with ACoP L8 / Health & Safety guidelines.
" Familiar with filling in onsite logbooks.
" Excellent communication skills.
" Able to work well independently and as a team.
The Role:
" CWST cleans, inspections and disinfections.
" TMV and failsafe servicing.
" Flushing and descaling of little used outlets.
" Calorifier blowdowns.
" Mains injections.
" Water sampling.
" Temperature monitoring.
" Updating onsite logbooks with relevant information.
" Complying with relevant Health & Safety / ACoP L8 guidelines.
" Professionally liaising with clients and colleagues.
