Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer / Legionella Risk Assessor.
Location: Birmingham, West Midlands.
Salary / Benefits £25k - £36k + Training + Benefits
We are recruiting in the Midlands region for a long-standing and established Water Hygiene / Legionella company. Due to gaining new contracts, they are now seeking to take on a qualified and diligent Water Hygiene Engineer / Legionella Risk Assessor to cover contracts across the Midlands through to South Central region. Covering Industrial, Commercial, Educational, and Social Housing sites you will be carrying out risk assessments on hot and cold-water systems alongside L8 compliance duties, ensuring work is carried out in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines. Experience & Qualifications:
" Will hold an industry recognised qualification e.g., City and Guilds / WMSoc in Legionella Risk Assessment.
" Experience working for a reputable Water Hygiene / Legionella company working hands on as an engineer / Risk Assessor.
" Excellent communication skills.
" Fully conversant with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
" Proficient IT skills.
The Role:
" Water sampling.
" Temperature monitoring.
" Legionella risk assessments on hot and cold-water systems.
" TMV servicing and failsafe testing.
" Tank inspections, cleans and disinfections.
" Flushing of little used outlets.
" Showerhead descales.
" Producing and carrying out work using schematic drawings.
" Producing detailed legionella reports and updating onsite logbooks accurately.
" Working in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
