Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer.
Location: Exeter, Devon.
Salary / Benefits £22k - £35k + Training + Benefits
Leading and independent Water Hygiene / Legionella company with a strong South West presence are now looking to employ a Water Hygiene Engineer due to acquiring new contracts. You will be working across a mixed portfolio of sites, carrying out legionella monitoring, temperature monitoring, testing, servicing, and monitoring of TMVs in line with relevant Health & Safety / ACoP L8 guidelines. Experience carrying out remedial plumbing tasks would be beneficial to the role if correct qualification is held. Experience & Qualifications:
" Extensive experience working as a Water Hygiene Engineer for an established company.
" Will have excellent time management skills.
" Able to communicate efficiently and professionally with clients / colleagues.
" Holding City and Guilds / NVQ L2 / L3 in plumbing would be beneficial to the role but not essential.
" Excellent knowledge of relevant Health and Safety / ACoP L8 guidelines.
" Experience flushing closed low temperature hot water and chilled systems in line with BSRIA guidelines (Desired)
" Excellent IT skills, able to use handheld PDA systems.
The Role:
" Carrying out legionella monitoring in line with ACoP L8 / Health and Safety Legislations.
" Temperature monitoring.
" Water system cleaning and disinfection.
" Testing, servicing, and monitoring of thermostatic mixing valves.
" Analysing, testing, and dosing closed systems.
" Undertaking remedial plumbing tasks (If qualification is held)
" Analysis, testing and checking of chlorine dioxide systems and equipment.
" Ensuring to build and maintain excellent working relationships with clients.
" Ensure work is being carried out in line with the agreed timeframe.
" Using handheld PDA to gather information prior to completing reports in a timely manner.
