Scout Recruiting is now looking for a Web Developeron behalf of our client located on the outskirts of Peterborough. The role would be to provide front-end web development, taking an active role in technical implementation, working with an existing set of websites support and assistance on the IT systems within the Company.
In addition, bringing new projects to market by defining how the application looks as well as how it works.
The ideal person must have at least 1-2 years of experience in this field and would primarily be working on implementing new features into, fixing technical and visual bugs and responding to support tickets / calls from customers, for the client platform, which is written in asp.net/C#.
This is a full-time permanent role Monday to Friday. Salary expectation is between 30K - 40K depending on experience. The role is initially office based but there is an opportunity to work a hybrid role after your training has been completed.

Main duties
- To become skilled in the use of the programs and languages used by the company in developing systems including Visual Studio (asp.net / C# / VB.net), jQuery/JavaScript, VS Code, IIS, MySQL, Git, Postman/Fiddler.
- Develop new user-facing features in existing systems and future platforms, build reusable code and libraries within the systems architecture for future use and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Using platforms such as HubSpot and 3CX, respond to support tickets and calls for any system related problems experienced by customers and colleagues and perform additional IT related projects either on a one-off or a continuous basis.
- Carry out bug fixes and enhancements to the web and internal systems in accordance with the training and guidance received, ensuring that targets are achieved.
- Write and publish help articles for the systems ensuring that targets are achieved.
- Communicate with customers to provide a technical perspective on the integration of workflows.
- Continuously ensure all Company procedures are adhered to.
- General duties will also include: - Answering telephone enquiries; following database and administrative procedures; purchasing of nonstock items/materials.
Key Skills
- Good working knowledge of Visual Studio (asp.net / C# / VB.net), jQuery/JavaScript, VS Code, IIS, MySQL, Git, Postman/Fiddler

- Previous HubSpot experience
