Web Developer Manager required for a leading client based in Oxford. My client is currently seeking a Web Dev Manager to come on board to possess a solid foundation in WordPress, serving as a central Content Management System (CMS), and demonstrate proficiency in utilizing AWS for hosting. Close collaboration with marketing teams is crucial for this position, underscoring the need to harmonize technical know-how with marketing strategies. In addition to leadership skills, a hands-on approach is essential. This role offers the chance to actively participate in day-to-day development activities.
Key skills and Responsibilities,
- Strong Web Development experience
- Previous Management experience
- Demonstrated track record of leading website development teams.
- Profound expertise in WordPress CMS, including adeptness in custom theme and plugin development.
- Robust proficiency in leveraging AWS services for web hosting. Familiarity with security best practices, encompassing SSL implementation, firewalls, and malware detection.
- Proven experience in collaborative work with marketing teams to attain business objectives. Advantageous skills include PHP, MySQL, domain management, NS & DNS expertise, and desirable experience with Nginx or Apache.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Strong aptitude for problem-solving and a proactive approach to overcoming challenges. Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.
- WordPress Proficiency: Showcase expertise in crafting, evolving, and upkeeping websites using WordPress as the central CMS. Stay abreast of the latest WordPress trends, features, and best practices for optimal performance and security solutions.
- AWS Hosting Management: Efficiently handle and enhance website hosting infrastructure on AWS, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security. Enforce and sustain best practices for cloud-based hosting solutions.
- Emphasis on Security: Give precedence to and implement robust security measures for all web assets, safeguarding sensitive data and upholding compliance with industry standards.
