Job Role: Full Time 40 hours
Salary: £35,000pa plus 20% bonus of your annual salary, dependent on performance and the successful completion of your probation period
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver sales into the venue to achieve the monthly and annual sales target.
- Receive incoming enquiries in accordance with the Sales Department standards and procedures and to convert them into confirmed business.
- To prepare proposals for new enquiries, ensuring venue standards are adhered to and contain best fit/feature expectations for client and maximising yield and revenue.
- Conduct show rounds and client visits to a high standard.
- Organise wedding open evening/day to a high standard and maximise conversion.
- To maintain and develop relationships with existing and new clients with focus on Wedding and Private bookers including wedding planners, 3rd party agents and bloggers.
- Connect with industry influencers and maintain venue wedding listings to maximise ROI.
- Ensure venue product knowledge and seasonal menus are communicated to clients and actively upsell to increase average spends and revenue opportunities.
- Create and complete function sheets – detailing all event requirements from start to finish and attend weddings, working in conjunction with the operations team.
- Ensure in house accounting policies are adhered to and checked. Ensuring billing invoices are completed within agreed timeframes and debt is chased.
- All sales procedures and administration correspondence duties are up to date and completed in a timely fashion as per agreed KPI’s. (Proposals, Contracts, Follow-ups and Deposit schedule/payments).
- Maintain good working relationship with the venue and other Searcys sites.
- To identify and support new leads for future business opportunities.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with clients, team members, and vendors
- Demonstrates excellent communication skills.
- Proven experience in Sales or Event Planning and Management
- Sales skills to drive revenue growth and build relationships with clients
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
