We are seeking a highly organized and motivated individual to join our team as a Wedding & Sales Executive. This pivotal role involves managing sales enquiries, coordinating event bookings, and ensuring the seamless execution of a variety of events. Duties:

  • Operate and maintain the computerized system (Opera) for responding to, coordinating, and tracking sales enquiries, bookings, and availability.
  • Meet prospective clients for show-arounds for weddings, private, and corporate functions
  • Ensure prompt and professional responses to sales enquiries, making clear recommendations based on customer needs, and providing detailed proposals and contracts as required.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports outlining current and future business bookings.
  • Generate quotations for prospective bookings, ensuring timely follow-ups and clear communication throughout the sales process.
  • Coordinate the booking process from enquiry to event execution, including booking function rooms, reserving room allocations, confirming menus, prices, and entertainment, and organizing extras such as flowers or champagne.
  • Implement outstanding enquiry handling processes for all communication channels, ensuring no sales opportunities are missed.
  • Manage all pre and post-event communications, ensuring exceptional customer service and satisfaction.
  • Take ownership of all booking details, maintaining up-to-date records and creating detailed function sheets to support the smooth running of events.
  • Support the completion of event enquiries and client emails, ensuring all enquiries are actioned promptly.
  • Conduct quality show rounds with guests, securing key business for the hotel and fostering positive relationships.
  • Identify upselling opportunities and proactively increase revenue generation for all areas of the business.
  • Work collaboratively with the sales and operational teams to deliver exceptional service from the beginning to the end of the event booking experience
  • Liaise with clients to coordinate intricate event details and requirements, ensuring accuracy and satisfaction.
  • Monitor, coordinate, and communicate event bookings, maintaining accurate records and recording client feedback post-event.
  • Assist in promotional and marketing activities, including the development of brochures, sales materials, and social media updates.
  • Contribute to the preparation of annual sales and Events targets, attending workshops, exhibitions, and promotional events as required.
  • Maintain relationships with other departments to ensure the effective and efficient running of events.

Skills:

  • BSC degree (or equivalent) in hospitality/events is desirable.
  • Proficiency in computerized systems, preferably Opera, to streamline operations.

Requirements:

  • Possesses our values
  • A minimum of 1 years’ experience in hospitality sales or events.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Wedding and Event sales.
  • Understand the requirement of weekend work.
  • Shift pattern – Tuesday to Saturday
