ABOUT THIS ROLE
Under the direction of the Box Office & Stage Door Manager, to operate Box Office and Stage Door provision at the Churchill Theatre, delivering an excellent standard of service to everyone who frequents and uses the building (staff and customers).
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
To work across the stage door reception and the box office reception desks.
To be first point of contact for all visitors both Front of House and Back of House, presenting a professional, welcoming, and helpful manner at all times.
To provide administrational support to the Box Office & Stage Door Manager, including but not exclusively relating to ticket sales and customer enquiries.
Where carrying out bookings or transactions, to actively up-sell other shows, hospitality options and any other Food & Beverage initiative that is relevant to the customer’s experience.
Provide ticketing support as required to the Front of House Team on show days/evenings including supplying relevant ticketing system reports and information.
Build and maintain a comprehensive and accurate knowledge of Churchill Theatre's programme of shows, events and facilities and impart this information as requested by our customers.
To follow and execute all security protocols for the venue.
Deal with incoming deliveries appropriately.
Security of backstage and administrative areas including, but not limited to, monitoring of all people entering / leaving the building, and maintenance of signing-in and signing-out records, supervision, and monitoring of CCTV, and of fire and intruder alarms.
With the support of the Duty Manager to be responsible for un-locking and locking the building on each shift.
Management within agreed procedures of the Theatre’s car-parking spaces.
Any other duties as directed by the Box Office & Stage Door Manager or General Manager.
Dress in accordance with CTB’s policy.

ABOUT YOU
You’ll be passionate and enthusiastic about theatre, live events and entertainment. Self-motivated and equipped with excellent interpersonal skills, you’ll also need a creative approach to your work and an ability to juggle multiple priorities simultaneously. You will have a good eye for detail and a creative flair.
Commercially savvy, enthusiastic and capable of influencing others (including other members of the Churchill Theatre team and third-party producer clients) you’ll be energetic, proactive, results-focussed and creative in your approach.
You’ll be resilient, able to communicate clearly and excellent at forming working relationships with others and willing to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and Bank Holidays.
