Your new companyYour new company is a Leading Manufacturer within the Preston area, and at the forefront of Technology in their field. With over 50 years of experience in their sector, you will be working for a well-established market leader within the Manufacturing Industry. With a strong team & a busy order book for 2024, you will play a key part in their workshop team.Your new roleAs a Welder Fabricator your daily duties will consist of the following:- Working Monday - Thursday 7.30am until 5pm / Friday 8am until 12pm- Manufacturing a range of industry-related equipment - Working with a range of industry related systems (including hydraulics, compressed gas etc.)What you'll need to succeedTo succeed in this role, you will need: - An NVQ / City & Guilds / Time Served- At least 5 years' experience in a similar background - Experience in Steel fabrication using Mild and Stainless-Steel materials- Ability to produce fabrications from pre-cut sections and in-house sources- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.- Mig welding experience required in various materials- Tig welding experience is beneficial- Experience of materials ranging from 3-10mm thicknessWhat you'll get in returnIn return, you will get a competitive salary of GBP31.5k (DOE), a healthy pension scheme and other company benefits.What you need to do nowIf you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.If this job isn't quite right for you, but you are looking for a new position, please contact us for a confidential discussion about your career.
