Welder - Mig/Tig Days

Job Role: Welder
Location: Manchester
Shift: Days Only
Salary: £16.00 - £17.00ph DOE

Metalis is working in partnership with a prestigious metalwork company in Oldham who due to continuous growth are looking to hire a skilled Welder on a 12 week temporary to permanent contract.

Job Duties:

• Sheet metal MIG & TIG Welding - Fabricating thin plate (1-3mm)
• Reviewing technical / engineering drawings and sketches.
• Inspecting work
• Maintaining welding equipment and machines etc.
• Using various power tools.
• Adhering to welding company processes.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience in sheet metal fabrication
• Excellent knowledge of MIG & TIG welding processes in sheet metal
• Ability to maintain high-quality standards in a fast-paced environment
• Happy with variation in their work
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude.

Salary & Shift:

• Monday to Friday
• Days only
• £16.00ph - £17.00ph DOE
