Due to a healthy order book, we are currently seeking a skilled Welder with proficiency in MIG and TIG welding techniques for a full-time and permanent position.
Work hours are flexible, allowing you to choose from either of the following shift patterns:
Monday - Thursday (7:45am - 6pm) or Mon - Friday (8am - 5pm Mon - Thurs & 8am - 1pm Friday)
Role Outlined:
The company are currently looking to hire a Welder to join their busy welding cell/team in a meticulously clean working environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing MIG and TIG welds on various sheet metal projects.
Daily Duties:
- Perform MIG and TIG welding on sheet metal components with precision and attention to detail.
- Work collaboratively within the welding cell/team to achieve production goals and maintain high-quality standards.
- Conduct inspections to ensure the quality of welded components, promptly addressing any discrepancies.
- Prepare materials for welding, including cleaning, cutting, and proper fit-up, ensuring optimal welding conditions.
- Follow strict safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe and clean working environment.
Person Specification:
- Proven experience in MIG and TIG welding, preferably within a sheet metal manufacturing environment (Coding isn't essential)
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy welding cell/team.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality welds.
- Adaptable to a clean working environment and commitment to cleanliness standards.
- Positive attitude, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
