The Board of Electors to the Whewell Professorship of International Law invites applications for this Professorship from persons who work in the field of Public International Law to take up appointment on 1 October 2024 or as soon as possible thereafter. The successful candidate will have an outstanding track-record as a scholar and teacher of Public International Law and will have the international stature, vision, experience and enthusiasm necessary to provide intellectual leadership and to maintain and develop the University of Cambridge's position as a global centre of excellence for research in and the study of Public International Law. Standard professorial duties include teaching and research, examining, supervision and administration. The Professor will be based in Cambridge. A competitive salary will be offered.
