WHQS (Welsh Housing Quality Standard) Asset Compliance Coordinator


LOCATION: Pembrokeshire


Due to development of the department and the promotion of the existing post holder, we are seeking a motivated and skilled individual to join our Building Maintenance Team at Pembrokeshire County Council. Joining our team will provide you with a fantastic opportunity for professional development and gain valuable experience within the construction industry and maintenance sector.


The Building Maintenance department is a vast, busy and varied service provider. It consists of a multi-disciplinary operational team within the Housing and Social Care Directorate, which is responsible for the maintenance, servicing, refurbishment and upgrading of a wide range of diverse assets and properties including Council Houses, Schools, public buildings and other historic and interesting assets.


We are seeking to WHQS (Welsh Housing Quality Standard) Asset Compliance Coordinator on a full time, permanent basis. The successful candidate will In conjunction with the Building Maintenance Operations Manager and colleagues within the Building Maintenance service, collate and coordinate data from across the maintenance section to illustrate compliance with the Welsh Quality Housing Standards (WHQS) and all other statutory compliance.

The successful individual will be working closely with a multidisciplinary team under the leadership of the Building Maintenance Operations Manager and the Building Maintenance Programme Manager`s to lead on the monitoring of compliance with legislation and key policies in reference to the Authority’s Building Maintenance requirements across all of the service area.
