Job description

Location: Head Office - Tyland Barn, Chatham Rd, Sandling, Maidstone ME14 3BD. However, we expect a significant amount of work to take place in person in communities throughout Kent.

Contract Type: Part Time (22 hrs / 3 days a week)

Salary: £26,000 to £28,000 per annum full time equivalent (pa FTE), actual for 3 days a week £15,600 to £16,800 (depending on experience).

The Job:

This exciting role will run and develop the highly successful Wild About Gardens project at Kent Wildlife Trust. This will include the recruitment and management of volunteers and the development of groups of wildlife friendly gardeners and gardens. You will also provide advice and support to the Wilder Kent Awards applicants and promote wildlife friendly gardening throughout Kent. Your work will help KWT achieve it’s goal of 25% of Kent taking meaningful action for nature by 2023.
