Wild Youth Assistant

The Employer is: BELFAST HILLS PARTNERSHIP. This job provides an opportunity to be part of the Belfast Hills Partnership team. You will be specifically involved in the ‘Wild Youth’ project, assisting our experienced ‘Wild Youth Officer’ work with young people aged 11-25 years old. This project helps young people to connect to nature and improve their health and wellbeing and involves a range of fun hikes, activities and bush craft. You will also gain insights into the wider organisation, and get the opportunity to be involved with the various conservation activities undertaken by the team..

Ability to walk for a couple of hours (may include steep/muddy terrain).

Enjoys working with groups of young people.

Good verbal communicator.

An interest in nature.

Works well with others and happy to get stuck in to whatever needs done.

Not afraid to get muddy or wet.

Good knowledge of local wildlife (don't panic if you don't have this, you will learn while out and about).
