Job description

Our client is an Asset Management Firm with a super culture and young ethos, and they are looking for a new Team EA to join their team. It’s a really wonderful position supporting the private equity team who are very personable and social. They are a high achieving bunch and work at a fast pace, so the role needs someone who is calm under pressure and confident in their abilities.  The role will be varied, and you will be supporting with everything from travel and dairy management, to events, board meeting prep and ad hoc research. As a company they are very welcoming and there is a collaborative and supportive EA team that you will be joining.  Duties will include but not be limited to:

  • Provide support to a team of up to 8 investment professionals & administrative support to wider divisional team
  • Diary management including Dealflow, Investment Committee & Board meetings
  • Collating and distributing papers for meetings and Board packs including weekly investment committee papers
  • Board liaison including working with the company secretary to coordinate meeting dates, and pre board meeting preparations
  • Travel bookings Collating and filing expenses
  • Event planning and execution – for internal team & company events and client company events including VCT AGMs
  • Provide support where required in the following areas: CRM, marketing materials preparation, PowerPoint slide coordination
  • Co-ordinate divisional projects and tasks as required Liaise with clients – internal & external – including Board members, business guests, IT, Marketing and HR teams
  • Liaising with other executives on behalf of immediate team
  • Managing data bases and filing systems
  • Ad-hoc project & research work as required
  • General office administrative work, as required
  • Provide PA cover for planned and unplanned absences
  • Wider office support including rotation cover for breaks, planned & unplanned leave for the Receptionist, answering & screening telephone calls, including the main office line

Skills & experience

  • Technology skills. Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of standard procedures and practices in an office
  • Solid previous experience as a PA, ideally from the finance sector ideal (PE, hedge fund, HNWs)
  • Excellent personal/communication skills - able to speak to different stakeholders both internal and external

The right candidate will have a least 3 years PA/EA experience, ideally within professional services or finance, be super proactive, have great attention to detail and excellent verbal and written communications skills. This role would suit someone who enjoys a busy and fast
