Volunteering with us can enable you to demonstrate teamwork, communication, problem solving, commercial awareness and more.
You will be assisting in a variety of roles within our shop including:
- Customer Service – a vital skill in many careers
- Visual Merchandising – share your fashion knowledge and creative flair
- Behind-the-Scenes - turn pre-loved items into saleable stock, saving thousands of tonnes of items from landfill
The British Heart Foundation funds research into all heart and circulatory diseases and the things that cause them. Heart diseases. Stroke. Vascular dementia. Diabetes. They're all connected, and they're all under our microscope. Our volunteers help us fund lifesaving science to improve the lives of families and loved ones living with heart and circulatory disease.
Just so you know, we are unable to accept volunteers aged under 16 or with unspent criminal convictions. Please note this is an unpaid voluntary Work Experience position in a friendly charity shop.
We will provide full training. All we ask in return is that you are ready to commit to volunteering for at least 4 hours per week for a minimum time of 4 weeks.
