What We Are Looking For...


The Facilities team look after our Chelsea House office, physical work equipment and spaces, and the workPlace Services available on-site to provide the best possible experience and seamless support to all our Islanders working at Head Office.
The Workplace Services Assistant will be primarily based in the Post Room.
Key Accountabilities:
  • Process all incoming deliveries (DHL. UPS, DPD & Fed Ex & others) and then deliver to key drop-off points, across the four floors of the office.
  • Collect and process all outgoing mail deliveries.
  • Process product received from and dispatched to the DC (transfer).
  • Action email and teams’ requests.
  • Provide Staff Shop support, including replenishment of product, promotional sales, pop ups and other ad hoc duties as needed to ensure the smooth running of the Staff Shop.
  • Assist with ad hoc office events management.
  • Order, dispatch and collect DSE items for colleagues who work from home.
  • Support other teams’ members, when required, in training of department tasks.
  • Collate overseas parcels & update internal records.
  • Print Royal Mail & DPD manifests at the end of each day.
  • Credit franking machine with funds, as and when necessary.
  • Undertake ad-hoc furniture moves
  • Set-up meeting spaces inc. configuration of chairs and tables
  • Manage ad-hoc requests, from colleagues, and action accordingly.
  • Provide H&S support in the form of fire marshalling to ensure visitor & staff safety.
Key experience required:
  • Previous experience in either facilities, Post Room or warehouse style role
  • Good track record of providing excellent workPlace Services experiences.
Job role competencies:
  • Intermediate MS Office including Word and Excel
  • Good verbal communication skills
  • Clear and confident communicator, professional manner
  • Good team player, flexible approach to changing priorities.
  • Good interpersonal and collaboration skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Disciplined and conscientious, results oriented.
  • Highly organised, good time management and prioritisation skills
  • Good team management skills can engage and motivate others.

This role is 75% manual handling and 25% administration.
