Workforce Development Support Officer

Connect2Kent are currently looking for a Workforce Development Support Officer for Kent County Council.

Purpose of the Job:

Project lead the communication, monitoring and weekly reporting of all Workforce Development opportunities currently procured to support the workforce in the Family hubs. This will include all related Workforce Development programmes for the family hubs workforce. Provide expertise, advice and support to managers, in order to ensure effective implementation of these programmes in line with budgets and timescales.

Main duties and responsibilities:

1. Support a range of Workforce Development programmes, in order to ensure the successful implementation and completion of these within the defined processes and short timescales.

1. Assist the project and programme leads to engage with partners across the system and KCC to drive participation, engagement and share progress on deliverables.

2. Maintain a robust monitoring and quality control system for the Workforce Development programmes, providing weekly reports to help ensure that projects are on target and that there is early identification and prompt implementation of solutions where these are needed.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Level 4 certificate or equivalent and/or holding or working towards a professional qualification
• Substantial project management experience
• Experience of working with different organisations
• Experience of supporting the development and implementation of new initiatives from scratch
