The University of Leeds has been entrusted by the UK government to spearhead the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) Research Delivery Network Coordinating Centre. This prestigious endeavour, joined by 12 Regional Delivery Networks across the nation, will form the NIHR Research Delivery Network (RDN). Operating as a unified organisation, we aim to balance regional expertise with national strategy, serving as a beacon for health, public health, and social care research.
Position Overview
As a key member of the RDN national leadership team, you'll drive visible, dynamic, and effective senior leadership, focusing on workforce and Organisational Development. You'll shape and lead initiatives to foster inclusion, professional development, and continuous improvement across the RDN.
Key Responsibilities
Shape and lead the development of inclusion, workforce, and Organisational Development across the RDN.
Embed inclusivity, drive innovation, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and shared learning.
Provide visible, dynamic, and effective senior leadership in workforce and Organisational Development.
Collaborate with other Directors to ensure the network functions as a unified organisation with a shared purpose and vision across England.
What We’re Looking for:
Strong strategic thinking and planning skills coupled with effective operational implementation abilities.
Inspirational leadership qualities with the ability to influence stakeholders across diverse settings.
Comfortable navigating multifaceted organisational landscapes and driving change beyond conventional hierarchies.
Strong understanding of health and care research delivery policy and practice
Commitment to maximising health and care research for the benefit of patients and the public.
