Workshop Assistant

Our client, a leading Production Engineering Organization is looking for a Workshop Assistant to join their friendly team.

Their modern factory includes the latest machinery and equipment, which provides a flexible and reliable supply of bespoke components to their many UK and international customers.

ROLE:

• The Workshop Assistant will possess practical skills and have a 'hands on' approach to their tasks.
• Duties will include general tidying, organising, and locating various tools, equipment, supplies and work areas.
• The role will include the development of practical skills and training to gain experience of working with high-tech production machinery.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Reliable and conscientious.
• Able to perform basic practical skills.
• Enthusiastic and have a positive disposition.
• Based in Amersham, with parking available and sited near to bus and underground/train links.
• Shift work would be available (additional rate of pay would apply) and overtime

Salary: GBP13.00 per hour, equivalent to GBP25,350 per annum (Negotiable)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 4.30pm (37.5 hours per week).

21 days holidays, plus public holidays.
