We have an exciting opportunity in Sittingbourne for a Workshop Supervisor to work for one of our clients. Our client is a leading manufacturer of spacecraft, defence and storage containers. In this role, you will be overseeing a team of highly skilled team, ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day operations. This is a full-time role.
Responsibilities
- Managing ongoing projects, ensuring they remain on target
- Responsible for the day to day management of a team
- Manage holidays, absences, discipline and yearly reviews
- Operate Lathe, Mill and Break Press machines
- Other duties as deemed reasonable
Skills and Experience
- Strong leadership experience, ideally working in a similar supervisory role
- A hands-on approach to work
- Ideally Lathe, Mill and Brake Press machine experience
- Ability to work on projects from design through to finished product
- The ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Well organised with an eye for detail
- Strong interpersonal skills
