THE JOB:
- Cleaning and preparing a job site
- Setting up of blast / paint equipment
- Preparing surface to blast cleaned and painted, blast & paint of surfaces
- Use of a variety of tools including levels, lifts, power drills, saws, pressure washers and water-spraying equipment
- Applying primers, followed by finishing coats
- Setting up of work areas and other temporary structures
- Masking all items for blast cleaning
- Carry out visual inspections of blast-cleaned / painted surfaces
- Ensuring all areas in the workshop are kept clean and tidy
- Driving forklift / manual handling equipment
KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- 5+ years experience of working with tools including levels, lifts, power drills, saws, pressure washers and water spraying equipment plus blast & paint experience
- Previous blasting experience - essential
- Counterbalance Forklift Truck license - desirable, training will be provided.
- Overhead crane trained - desirable, training will be provided.
Applicants must live a reasonable commute from Watton in Breckland.
