- Manoeuvring articulated HGVs, including coupling/decoupling and reversing into parking spaces.
- Using a forklift in either an outdoor or indoor environment.
- Shunting trailers around site.
- Unloading/loading curtainsider trailers using MHE/FLT equipment.
- Recording customer returns accurately and keeping stock organised.
- Emptying exterior bins on site into skips using MHE/FLT equipment.
- Conducting basic maintenance on equipment such as replacing headlight bulbs on HGVs, refilling screenwash and refuelling FLTs.
- Keeping the yard/shed tidy and reporting hazards.
- Ensuring stock is safe to transport and manually handling product when required and safe to do so.
- Reporting defects on equipment and locking off defective trailers.
- Keep accurate records of equipment that has been locked off.
