The Care Team Support performs a variety of administrative and care duties. The Care Team Support is expected to answer telephone calls, complete administrative duties, provide care for Clients as required and supports with a variety of tasks to provide the highest quality service to Clients.
The Role
- Support Care Professionals in their day-to-day role
- Provide quality introductions and support with medication.
- Provide care for Clients as required.
- Provide support to the Care Director and the Care Team in all aspects of the business.
- Being part of the On-Call Rota
- Answer telephones calls in a polite professional manner, passing on clear messages and actioning messages where appropriate.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships.
- Maintain and uphold company standards and ethos.
- Ensure compliance with Home Instead’s Equality, Diversity and Equal Opportunities Policy, in respect of employment and service delivery.
Person Specification
- Able to demonstrate dedication and ownership to complete allocated work tasks.
- Good clear telephone manner with excellent written and oral communication skills
- Good planning, time management and organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Goal Orientated and an ability to cope within a fast-changing environment.
