Yard Operative / Delivery Driver

We are looking to recruit an additional member to our existing team of operatives. The role will consist of washing machines / preparing machines for collection and delivery and loading trucks The candidate will also be required to do small delivered in a pickup truck or rigid truck. Additionally, this role will involve maintaining yard and stores in a clean and orderly fashion.

Potential candidates must be able to work in a safe, efficient, and tidy manner and to communicate effectively with customers and fellow staff members.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning of machines for site delivery
• Loading Trucks
• Maintaining stores and yard in a clean and orderly fashion.
• Small deliveries

Requirements

• Experience working with teleporters or other machinery would be an advantage.
• Full clean drivers licence
• Rigid Truck licence – advantage but not essential
• Trailer Licence – advantage but not essential
• Excellent communication skills.
• Excellent both written and spoken English.
• A team player with good attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work in different areas as required.
