Job Overview:

We are seeking a hard working Yardsman/woman to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organisation our busy yard and warehouse areas, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.

Duties:

- Keep yards and warehouses clean, tidy and organised

- Stock maintenance and management

- Perform general maintenance tasks as needed

- Loading and offloading of delivery vehicles

- Operation of bandsaw/cross cut saws and surface thicknesser

- Assisting customers and sales staff with customer orders and gathering up collections/delivery orders

Skills:

- Attention to detail and organisational skills crucial

- Forklift experience necessary

- Fluency in English

- Excellent communication skills to interact with colleagues and customers

- Analytical skills to assess yard organization and maintenance needs
