Year 1 Class Teacher

Year 1 Class Teacher required for ‘Good’ School in Tameside. Hays Education are working exclusively with an Ofsted rated ‘Good’ primary school Tameside. They are currently recruiting for a Year 1 Class Teacher to cover Maternity Leave. They are looking for someone who is available to start after the February Half Term until the end of the academic year.
At this school pupils have positive attitudes to learning. They work well together and take pride in their work. Relationships between staff and pupils are extremely strong.
The ideal candidate for this Year 1 Class Teacher job in Tameside will have/be;
Qualified Primary Teacher (UK QTS)In depth knowledge of the KS1 CurriculumExperience teaching within a primary school in the last two years, ideally within Key Stage 1Ability to provide a secure and engaging learning environmentCommitment to work cohesively with colleagues and parents and carersStrong communication and interpersonal skills
