Position: Year 1 Teacher (Part Time)
Location: Southend-on-Sea
Salary Scale: 120- 210
Days: 2-3 days per week
Key Responsibilities:
- Curriculum Delivery: Plan and deliver creative and age-appropriate lessons in accordance with the Year 1 curriculum, ensuring a well-rounded educational experience for students.
- Differentiated Instruction: Recognise and address diverse learning needs within the classroom, providing individualised support and challenges as required.
- Classroom Management: Establish a positive and inclusive classroom culture that encourages active participation, cooperation, and positive behaviour.
- Assessment and Feedback: Regularly assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their continuous development.
Qualifications:
- Teaching Qualifications: QTS or equivalent qualification in teaching.
- Experience: Proven experience as a Year 1 Teacher, showcasing effective teaching practices in early childhood education.
- Passion for Early Childhood Education: A genuine passion for fostering the academic and personal growth of young learners in their foundational years.
- Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, essential for building positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
