Year 2 Teacher Job - Nottingham

Hays Education are working with a lovely local primary school in Nottingham near the city centre who are looking for a Year 2 Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis asap.

Your new role
Within this role, you will be working within a Year 2 class and will be responsible for creating a safe and welcoming classroom environment for the children to learn. You will be expected to take up general teaching responsibilities, including planning and prep. You will be working as part of a class team along with other members of staff within the school and KS1. You will need to build strong relationships with parents, children, and staff alike and be able to hit the ground running. This is the perfect, long-term opportunity with the chance to be permanent for the relevant candidate who is looking to progress their career within an amazing school and Trust.

What you\'ll need to succeed
- You must have QTS.
- You will have a passion for working with children and be approachable with a natural ability to always remain calm and in control
- You must be adaptable and flexible in your teaching style.
- You will have recent and relevant experience within a primary school setting and have extensive knowledge of the KS1 curriculum
- You must be confident with the ability to hit the ground running
