The school will need to ensure that they are not knowingly employing a person who is disqualified under the 2018 Regulations in connection with relevant childcare provision. Accordingly, the successful candidate will be required to demonstrate to the school, by completing a self-declaration form as part of the pre-employment checks process, that they have not been disqualified under the 2018 Regulations.
If the preferred candidate is found to be disqualified under the 2018 Regulations, the offer of employment will be subject to the application by the preferred candidate to Ofsted for a waiver and the receipt of a waiver from Ofsted.
We are a small rural school just outside of Lewes with large, beautiful grounds, children full of excitement and staff full of inspiration. We are looking for someone enthusiastic who would like to come and join our Chailey team.
We require a teacher to join our happy and enthusiastic school to teach Year 4 and 5, on either Wednesday mornings and full days on Thursdays and Fridays, or three full days Wednesday to Friday. We are happy to accommodate either based on the candidate's preference.
Early Careers Teachers are welcome to apply and support with training, a mentor and opportunities to work with colleagues from other local schools will be given.
Pay range M1 to M6 (£30,000 to £41,333)
