Year 5/6 Class Teacher

Class Act Teaching Services are currently looking for a Year 5/6 Class Teacher in Aylesbury. This Year 5/6 Class Teacher role is in a Primary School and is starting after the May half term and continues until the end of the academic year. The school are ideally looking for someone full time, however they are open to consdiering part time, job share alternatives.

This Primary School has continually been rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted and has it’s ethos revolving around kindness, honesty and respect amongst other values. The school is proud of it’s curriculum that nurtures the student’s curiosity and broaden their understanding.

Role of Year 5/6 Class Teacher:

• Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum
• Upkeep a tidy, organised classroom with accessible resources where needed
• Work effectively with other members of staff, both within the classroom, and throughout the school
• Ability to monitor, assess and report on the progress of your students
• Able to plan and deliver engaging lesson that can be adapted to the needs of the class
• Willingness to comply with the schools’ policies and implement them effectively

Year 5/6 Class Teacher Requirements:

• Hold Qualified Teaching Status
• Recent mainstream school-based experience teaching in a Primary School
• Have a good level of classroom and behaviour management
• Experience working with SEND is desirable
