Job Type: Temporary, expected to work full-time hours

Salary: £145 - £210 per day

Job Description Job Duties:

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons for Year 5/6 children 
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to pupils, parents, and school leadership
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies
• Participate in staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and school events

Required Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching in a primary school setting
• Strong knowledge of the national curriculum for Key Stage 2
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a primary school

Knowledge and Skills:

• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of children 
• Proficient in classroom management techniques
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Passion for education and fostering a love of learning

Preferred Qualifications:

• Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
• Experience working with students with special educational needs (SEN)

Working Conditions:

• Full-time position with temporary contract
• Typical school hours, Monday to Friday
• Classroom-based teaching with additional responsibilities as required
