Year 5/6 Teacher

Step Teachers is collaborating with a primary school in Cambridgeshire to find a long-term, part-time Year 5/6 Teacher for every Monday, starting in September.

This is a "good" Ofsted rating school where students are enthusiastic learners who actively listen to both their peers and adults. During lessons, they eagerly contribute ideas, recognizing that their classmates and teachers will encourage their efforts even if their responses are incorrect.

Year 5/6 Teacher Role:

• As a Year 5/6 Teacher, a solid knowledge of the KS2 curriculum is desirable 
• Maintain a tidy, organized classroom with accessible resources as needed
• Direct and support any additional staff in the classroom when applicable
• Able to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons
• Willingness to comply with the school's policies and implement them effectively

Requirements:

• Hold QTS or its equivalent
• Have recent experience in mainstream school settings as a year 5/6 Teacher
