Commencing in March, this unique role will initially require afternoons only, extending through April and the beginning of May. Following this period, the commitment transitions to full-time until the second week of July.

• Start Date: March 2024
• Working Days: Afternoons only (March, April, beginning of May), Full-time (from May until the second week of July)
• Commitment: Five afternoons a week during the initial period, transitioning to full-time later.

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Creating a positive learning environment through professionally planned lessons and classroom displays
• Using imagination and innovation to enhance the learning experience in children
• Having control over a whole class and maintaining discipline
• Adhering to the curriculum, including up to date changes in the structure
• Ability to communicate with and encourage children with additional needs.
• Dedicated interest in children's education and creating the best learning environment.
• Positive outlook and attitude.
• Knowledge of various teaching methods.
• Good organisational and verbal communication skills.
• Plan and prepare lessons and carry out assessments to track pupil progress.

Requirements:

• QTS or equivalent teaching qualifications
• Good knowledge of the national curriculum
• Experience working with KS2 pupils
• A drive to inspire the next generation
• Able to engage with and motivate children
• Class management skills
• An enhanced child DBS on the update service (or willingness to get one)
