Delia’s Canary Catering at Norwich City Football Club is excited to present a new opportunity within Yellows Bar and Grill for an enthusiastic Front of House Supervisor. We are searching for a strong supervisor with the desire and passion to deliver exceptional customer service.
The successful candidate will have the ability to step up as needed in a fast-paced restaurant, motivating a small team to deliver the Delia brand standard. A role model in welcoming customers and in the delivery of a professional level of food and drink service. Always ensuring customers receive the experience they envisaged.
Key tasks/responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Supervise and mentor salaried and casual Front of House staff, ensuring all staff have a thorough knowledge of the menu and bar offering.
- To be immaculately presented at all times. Pride in your appearance and that of the Catering Team as ambassadors for Delia’s Canary Catering.
- Being observant and attentive to customer’s needs. Building rapport with customers by utilising excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Accurate taking of orders and clear communication with Chefs and the Back of House Team regarding customer orders and dietary requirements.
- Multi skill in all areas of the restaurant including bar, drinks service, waiting and cashier.
- Front desk duties; including answering calls, accurate till reconciliation and bookings.
- Open and close the restaurant, resetting the restaurant to meet the Delia brand standard.
- To be fully competent with fire alarm procedures/stadium evacuations and the process of alarming or de-alarming the stadium.
- A thorough knowledge of any allergens contained in the menu, compliant with Food hygiene regulations, Health and Safety regulations and Licensing laws.
- To act in a manner that supports the Club’s Values of Growth, Integrity, Belonging, Resilience, Pride and Commitment
