Young AdultsComplex Care Assistant – Alcedo Care – Full Time OR Part Time– Leyland – Expereience Required, Complex Nurse Led training and 3-day induction training provided in house.
Caring for our Young Female Complex Adult in Leyland includes the following;
• PEG FEEDS
• SUCTION
• SATURATION MONITORING
• OBSERVATION MONITORING
• SEIZURE MONITORING
• MEDICATION ADMINISTRATION VIA PEG
• PERSONAL CARE
• SUPPORTING TO GOSHH VISITS WITH MUM
shifts run on a two weekly basis and range from 5-12 hour sits in the clients own home, including waking and sleeping nights. Example below;
Week 1: Thurs 3:30-10:30pm, Fri 3:30pm-8pm + Sleep 8pm-8am, Sat 8am-8pm. Week 2: Mon 3:30pm-8pm, Wed 3:30pm-8pm, Thurs 3:30pm-10:30pm, Fri 3:30pm-8pm PLUS sleep 8pm-8am

Whether you have care experiences in the Nurseries as a Nursery Nurse; worked for the NHS as a Care Assistant or nursing; previously worked in a care home or nursing home; been a Care Assistant in the community; private carer for a family member; we offer full training and support to become a Care Assistant.
