Hi my name is Maddison, I am 15 years old. My favourites things to do when I'm not at school is crafting, art, fashion and makeup. I absolutely love going to concerts and listening to my favourite music, especially Taylor Swift and Harry styles. I enjoy shopping trips, cinema and hanging out with friends.

I'd like my carers to share similar interests, be kind, compassionate, be able speak clearly but also be up for a laugh and a bit of banter, being reliable and making sure I have committed carers helps me to gain trust in them and feel safe, this also helps me to become more independent knowing I have carers that are supportive and encouraging.

Salary: £13.60 - £14.10 per hour

Hours: Full or part time available

Shift: Days to support me to college 08.30-17.30 Monday-Friday term time only

At Yorhealth we provide care for children and Young Adults with complex care needs.

This role includes supporting a Young Adult with a complex needs across Nottingham. We are looking for a warm and friendly individual who has a passion for Young Adult’s wellbeing and has a caring and patient nature. An understanding of the developmental and educational needs of young people is required and a willingness to learn to meet the care needs of the individual.

Current basic clinical competence is advantageous but not essential, as full practical training will be provided.

Experience required:

· An NVQ level 3 in the relevant area is desirable.

· Ventilator care and management

. Tracheostomy Care and Management

. Oxygen Care and Management

. Nebuliser Care and Management

. Medicines Management

· Bespoke person centred moving and handling skills with wheelchair dependent young person .

· Pressure area care and Management.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £13.60-£14.10 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
