Salary: £25,575 - £29,411
Contract: Permanent Hours: 37 Hours per week
Location: Working flexibly from home and the community, Merton.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Carer Support Adviser to join our team in West Lincolnshire. As a Carer Support Adviser, you will be part of our Operational Team, helping to improve the lives of carers through your work.
The role's requirements will include managing conversations with Young Carers to identify needs with assessments and support plans.
- providing advice and wellbeing support.
- running support groups and activities.
- working with community groups.
- and proactive identification of Young Carers through partnership working.
To be successful you will have experience of working with young people either in a 1:1 or group setting, a working knowledge of health and social care particularly in relation to young people and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A high standard of written skills is needed in order to help the carer identify their support needs and to complete assessments.
